Sims 4 Gnomes

The History of Gnomes in Sims

Gnomes have been a quirky and delightful part of the Sims universe for quite some time. In earlier iterations of the game, such as in Sims 3, these mischievous little creatures would mysteriously move around the house, leaving gifts, and sometimes causing mild disturbances. Their presence in Sims 4, however, has been greatly expanded, turning them into significant in-game entities with personalities, preferences, and interactions. How to Appease Gnomes in Sims 4

In Sims 4, there are several kinds of gnomes that you can appease, and there are different
ways of appeasing them. For the most part, all gnomes can be appeased using the following

  • Pie
  • Coffee
  • Salad
  • Toy
  • Future Cube
  • Fruitcake

With these items, you may get a range of reactions, and some gnomes can work with a range of
items, but from the 12 different gnomes only a few accept more than 1 type of item. The
consequences of making a mistake will not be good! If you don’t choose the right item, your sim
will be struck by lightning, which can lead to some scary moments in Sims!

To appease a gnome is quite easy, all you need to do is walk over the gnome that you wish to
appease, and click into him as an action. Find the option for “Appease Gnome” and you will be
given the option of the above items to give to the gnome. Be careful, make sure you know what
item you give them, find out more below!
